BONITA E. (BONNIE) MALLON, age 48, of Edgewood, died at Gilchrist Center, Towson, Maryland on December 29, 2002. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Margaret E. Delss Swan of Laurel, Maryland and the late William Joseph Sprole, Jr. She worked for the Baltimore County School Board as a special education teacher assigned to the Hawthorne Elementary School. She graduated from Notre Dame College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in teaching and was working on her Masters Degree. She was a resident of Harford County for 19 years.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Mallon is survived by her husband of 29 years, Charles Henry Mallon; one son, Jason D. Mallon of Edgewood; one daughter, Marcelle D. Mallon of Edgewood; one brother, James D. Orndorff of Churchville; four sisters, Deborah K. Porter of Lake Mary, Florida; Cynthia G. Brown of Dundalk; Patricia K. Corbin of Street; and Debra A. Woods of Savannah, Georgia. Also survived by step-mother, Kathleen A. Sprole of Bel Air; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin P. and Elsie M. Herl of Rosedale.
