Bobby Edward Buchanan

BOBBY EDWARD BUCHANAN, age 69, of Havre de Grace, MD, died on July 8, 2007 at Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Robert Crockett and Martha Kathleen Brewer Buchanan. An Air Force veteran, he served our country during the Korean War. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and boating and was an assistant Scout Master for many years for Troop 967 in Havre de Grace. His family said that sharing time with family and friends was especially enjoyable. In his later years, he and his wife hosted dinners every other weekend for their family and friends.

Mr. Buchanan is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Virginia Buchanan of Havre de Grace, MD; two sons, Michael Anthony Buchanan and his wife, Jillian, and their son, Reese Christian Buchanan of Aberdeen, MD and Robert Michael Hagy and his wife, Lisa, of Rising Sun, MD; two daughters, Deborah Bailey of Aberdeen, MD and Margaret Coomes of Oklahoma; four brothers, Herbert “Bud” Buchanan of Rising Sun, MD, Phillip Buchanan of Richmond, VA, Thomas Buchanan of Blacksburg, VA, and David Buchanan of Bluefield, WV; two sisters, Kathy Doughton of York, SC and Nancy Wade of York, SC; and mother-in-law, Nellie Scotten of Havre de Grace, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa Marie Buchanan, three brothers, and three sisters.
