Bobbie L. Guy

Bobbie Lee Guy was born June 25, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland. As a young man, he proudly served in the Army and Air Force. After retiring from the military, he was a long-time employee at Martin State Airport. In the early 80s he began working at the Mary Risteau State Office Building where he retired in 2010. 

A man of few words and many talents, Bobbie enjoyed playing in his basement workshop, working in his yard, or tinkering with equipment he was working on. He enjoyed quiet nights on his deck with his wife. He married Dianne, the love of his life, on September 15, 2001. Together they built a beautiful life in their dream home where he peacefully passed away with her by his side, holding his hand in his favorite chair. 

Bobbie is survived by wife Dianne, son and daughter-in-law Rob and Kim, daughter and son-in-law Dawn and Anthony, stepdaughter and husband Elisha and Todd, and grandchildren Kylie, Eden, and Ethan. 

A Celebration of Life will be held October 1, 2023, from 1 - 4 pm at the VFW Post 8185, 520 Susquehanna River Road, Port Deposit, MD 21904
