Bob Lehr

Robert "Bob" Lehr, age 79, of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away on August 11, 2024. Born in Abingdon, Maryland, he was the beloved son of the late William and Alice (Lee) Lehr. 

 Bob was a devoted husband to Carol (Eder) Lehr, with whom he shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. His deep faith and commitment to his church were evident throughout his life, as he proudly served as the first Deacon at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Hickory, Maryland. 

 Beyond his service to the church, Bob had a passion for woodworking and model trains, hobbies that brought him great joy and allowed him to share his creativity with others. His dedication to his community was unwavering, and he will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit. 

 Bob leaves behind his wife, Carol, along with many cherished family members and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

 In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his sons, Charles Robert (Paige) Lehr and John Kevin (Janet) Lehr; granddaughters, Isabella Lehr, and Helena Lehr; grandsons, Jack Lehr, and Kevin Lehr; brother, William J Lehr Jr.; sisters, Helen Rea, Mary J. Rembold, and Joyce Mahoney. 

 In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by sister, Joan.
