Bob Knaggs

Bob Knaggs, age 88, of Joppa, MD passed away on December 27, 2017 at his home. Born in Elkins, WV, he was the son of Owlan and Winifred Virginia (Adams) Knaggs. He served his country in the Navy during WWII. He was in the Boy Scouts and became a leader for 32 leaders, earning entry into the Order of the Arrow. After his discharge from the Navy, he earned his private pilot license. He retired, after 27 years, from General Elevator Company where he worked as an elevator mechanic. He was a Mason in the Patapsco Lodge and was active at Trinity Lutheran Church. A very generous person, he loved people and had a lot of friends.

Mr. Knaggs is survived by his wife, Jewell Knaggs; two sons, Randy L. Knaggs (Debbie) and Mark D. Knaggs (Paula); two brothers, Alvin "Sunny" Knaggs and Benny Knaggs; grandchildren, Landen Knaggs, Travis Knaggs, Conner Knaggs, Mark D Knaggs II, and Julianna Knaggs. He is also survived by extended loving family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlene Gibson.
