Bob Bullis Sr.

Bob Bullis Sr., 86, of Bel Air, MD passed away on September 24, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in North Wilkesboro, NC, he was the son of the late Hubert Aaron Bullis and Sara Inez (Wallace) Bullis. He served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He owned and operated Bullis Construction Company until his retirement in 1990. He really was a "jack of all trades" – he got his pilot's license as a teenager, he fixed and restored cars (he liked the early Mustangs), he could play the guitar and a little piano, and of course he was an expert woodworker and had a particular love for clocks.

Mr. Bullis is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean P. (Peterson) Bullis; sons, Robert V. Bullis Jr. (Virginia) of Bel Air, David Bryan Bullis (Karen) of Kingsville and Gary Allen Bullis of Texas; daughter, Deborah Everett (Mike) of Bel Air; siblings, Mary Gay Parks (Jack), Dorothy Jean Watters (Lawrence) George Michael Bullis (Irene), and Barbara Ann Williams-Jolley (Buck); nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, H.A. Bullis, Jr. (Bill) and Jack Thomas Bullis, a sister, Betty Jo Bullis, and his son, Steven Michael Bullis.
