Blane Watson

Blane Watson, age 57, of Havre de Grace, MD peacefully made the journey from his home to Heaven on April 14, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of the late Louden Archer and Doris Creswell Watson. After 37 years of dedicated service with the State of Maryland, he retired as an Environmental Inspector. He diligently assisted with establishing "Room at the Cross Mission Church" in Havre de Grace and was a devoted leader of the Adam groups in Havre de Grace and Bel Air. Blane lead men's Bible study groups in his home and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a passionate participant in political Tea Party events with The Campaign for Liberty group. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed landscaping, gardening, antiquing, going to yard sales, bike riding, cross country trips, going to the beach, and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Watson is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Carol J. White Watson; daughter, Jennifer L. Bandy and her husband Chris of Darlington; son, David B. Watson and his wife, Ashleigh of Bel Air; brother, F. Shane Watson of Aberdeen; sister Jamee B. Lloyd of Bel Air; grandson, Aiden B. Watson of Bel Air and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David B. Watson, Shane Watson, Chris Bandy, Alexander Lloyd, Mark Lloyd, Mike Lust, Jay Scott and Paul Watson.
