Blanche Elizabeth Burk

BLANCHE E. BURK, age 77, of Forest Hill, died in Greater Baltimore Medical Center on April 26, 2003. Born in Keene, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Winfield L. and Charlotte L. Larner Ells, and the wife of the late Harold R. Burk, Sr. She was a member of the Bel Air VFW Auxiliary and volunteered throughout the community. She was a “neighborhood mom”.

Mrs. Burk is survived by seven sons, Harold R. Burk, Jr. of Forest Hill; Jack L. Burk of Forest Hill; Ronald D. Burk of Forest Hill; Donald G. Burk of Jarrettsville; Charles A. Burk of Forest Hill; Bryan L. Burk of Forest Hill; William J. Burk of Street; one daughter, Susan G. Rust of Edgewood; one brother; one sister; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two daughters, Vicki L. Button and Shirley A. Atwell.
