Blaine "Butch" Robinette, age 66, of Elkton, MD, passed away on August 29, 2012 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Arch Elijah and Iona Elizabeth Cadwalder Robinette. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Mt. Savage High School in 1964 and worked for Schuster Concrete in Owings Mills from which he retired. A resident of Harford County since 1987, he had just recently moved to Cecil County. He loved racing, walking, fishing, traveling, being outdoors and going to the beach. Family was the most important thing to him.
Mr. Robinette is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary K. Robinette of Elkton, MD; son, Archie Elijah Robinette of Edgewood, MD; brothers, Sam, Stephen and Tom Robinette; and sisters, Sandra Detrick, Rosemary Twigg and Martha Cornell. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Richard Lee Robinette.
