Blaine "Buddy" Hans

Blaine "Buddy" Hans, 84, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on May 11, 2015 at Rock Spring Village in Forest Hill. Born in Highland Park, MI, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Hanslovsky and Emma Mildred Miller Putnam and husband, for 42 years, of the late Deloris Iola (Johnson) Hans. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served our country during the Korean War. He retired from Law Enforcement after 40 years of service where he worked as a police officer. He enjoyed woodworking, photography and drawing, and was a Charter Member of the FOP Harford Lodge #31 and a Life Member of American Legion Post #39 in Bel Air.

Mr. Hans is survived by his son, Steven C. Darney and wife, Tina "Belle", of Darlington; daughters, Jacqueline J. Brown of Arnold, Roberta B. Warfield of Forest Hill, Donetta K. Waldrop and husband, John, of New Gretna, NJ and Kathy Hans Poole of Burlington, WV; daughter-in-law, Pamela Hans of Atlantic Beach, NC; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife he was predeceased by his son, Michael Hans; and siblings, Charles and Holly.

Pallbearers will be Mark McGovern, Abel McGovern, Joshua Warfield, Matthew Warfield, Todd Brown and Seth Darney.
