Billy Ray Crawford

Billy Ray Crawford, age 71, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on October 28, 2014 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Sophia, WV, he was the son of the late Joseph Edward Crawford Sr. and Trilbygay Halsey Crawford Bagdigian. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked for 32 years at General Motors where he was an equipment operator. He was a musician, craftsman, outdoorsman and liked to build and fly remote control airplanes.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jacquelyn Margaret Ray Crawford; sons, Kenneth R. Crawford, Bobby J. Crawford and wife, Terry, Tracy A. Ray and Ryan Crawford and wife, Mindy; daughters, Michele L. Crawford-Brackin and husband, Edward, and Marilee Bennett; brothers, James and Eugene Crawford both of Florida; sister, Phyllis Dumbrowski of Maryland; grandchildren, Kean Shanahan, Gavin, Carson, Crysta and Hannah Crawford, MiKayla Taylor, Margo and Cody Bennett, and Kourtney McKew; and great-grandchildren, Kirra and Macie McKew. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Edward, and grandson, Kyle Bennett.
