Billy ''Bill'' J. Poole

BILLY “BILL” J. POOLE, age 71, of Bel Air, MD, died on November 7, 2007 at his home. Born in Ennice, NC, he was the son of the late George Thomas and Sarah Lelia Murphy Poole. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he retired after 38 years at Aberdeen Proving Ground where he was a planner/estimator. He was a member of the Chesapeake Bay Van Club and loved sports and NASCAR.

Mr. Poole is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patsy J. Burchette Poole of Bel Air, MD; one son, William L. Poole of Rising Sun, MD; one daughter, Mitzi E. Jackson of Bel Air, MD; three brothers, Bobby Poole of Flintville, MD, Walter Poole of North Carolina, and Thomas R. Poole of Darlington, MD; two sisters, Marie Seymour of Pylesville, MD and Jean Scott of Galax, VA; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
