William Wesley Bennett born July 4, 1957, at age 63 he passed away on June 10, 2021 in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Calvin and Ruby (Baker) Bennett. Bill grew up in Fallston MD and remained in Harford County. Bill started working for his father driving a dump truck and continued on as a heavy equipment operator, was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed riding motorcycles, a passion he's had since he was 13. William was very creative with his gardening designs and landscapes, huge John Wayne movie fan and enjoyed bluegrass music. He enjoyed riding with his friends on a beautiful day.
After Bill was born, his mother watched the fireworks from her hospital room in Baltimore and he's been a firecracker ever since. It was fitting that Bill was born on this day as he had a great love and respect for this country. He was a proud American and patriot. Bill lived his life to the fullest.
In his final years he was happiest surrounded by his grandchildren and friends. Mostly just hanging out with Patti and working on his motorcycle.
He will be missed by many and remembered fondly by all.
William is survived by his beloved partner, Patricia Davis, daughter, Jesseca Ann Bennett; sisters, Mary E. Monahan, Ann Louise Watters and Virginia Ellen Kuriata; brother, Calvin Robert Bennett Jr; grandchildren, Cassidy Pruner, Melody Pruner, Jack Thompson and step-granddaughter Jasmine Hale.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Adam Hale.
The family will host a memorial service at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3911 Sweet Air Rd., Phoenix, Maryland 21131 at 1:30 pm on July 11, 2021 with burial immediately afterwards at church.
