Bill Douglas

Bill Douglas, 62, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on July 15, 2015 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he is the son of Betty Ann (O'Neal) Douglas and the late William Thomas Douglas. From the age of 16, he worked in the construction business and had recently participated in two real estate rehabs and flips. A handyman to friends and family, he did all kinds of work for people. He loved vegetable gardening and working on the lawn, and enjoyed country music, Budweiser beer and Pall Mall Blues. He also enjoyed Orioles baseball, Ravens football and especially tailgate grilling. He loved his family and is mostly responsible for teaching everyone in the family how to drive.

Mr. Douglas is survived by his wife, Beverly Jane (Bell) Douglas; daughters, Becky Warren, Angie Cullison and husband, Greg, and Heather Stratton and husband, Jay; sister, Kathy Powers; grandchildren, Cameron, Morgan, Peyton, Cambell, Sydney and Ryder; and step-grandchildren, Andy, Zach, Kayla and Alexis. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael Douglas.
