BILL BAIR, age 83, of Bel Air, died on December 6, 2005 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Clora, Maryland, he was the son of the late Al Bair and Blanche Harris Bair. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Thomas Bair.

Mr. Bair worked for 30 years in television sales and service as the owner of Bair’s TV in Hickory. He served his country in the US Army during WWII in the European theater, and was a member of both the Bel Air VFW and American Legion. He was a Past Master in the Masons at Stephenson Lodge 135 in Darlington, a past Grand Tall Cedar and Past Scribe of the Cedars, and was a Noble in the Shriners. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Bel Air.

Pallbearers will be Robert Edwards, Charlie Austin, Bernard Sporney, Raymond Thomas, Walter Thomas, and Ward Bauguess.
