Beulah L. Rodefer, 98 years young, passed away on November 11, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was the daughter of the late Walter Raleigh May and Emmaline (Hurley) May, and wife of the late Charles Reginal Rodefer, Sr. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and loved making crafts and attending craft shows. She loved teaching and working with mentally challenged people.
Mrs. Rodefer is survived by her daughters, Jane Rodefer Zehl and Margaret Lee Leftwich; son, Charles R. Rodefer, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Freida Rodefer; grandchildren, Leslie Barnes, Kelly White, Christie Leftridge, Sheri Leftridge, Deborah Zehl, Charles Zehl, Benjamin Rodefer and Michael Rodefer; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Connor and Nancy Whitson. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son David H. Rodefer, one brother and three sisters.
Visitation will be held at McComas Funeral Home, P.A. in Bel Air, MD on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2-4 p.m., and on Monday, November 16 from 10-11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Bel Air. Services will be at the church on Monday at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
