BEULAH HANSON MITCHELL DAYHOOF, age 89, of Churchville, MD, died on November 4, 2007 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Harford Furnace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Emory Mitchell and Isabel Grace Hanson Mitchell and wife of the late James Bernard Dayhoof Sr. She was a life-long Harford County resident who took great pleasure in living in the home in which she was raised. She saw beauty in the most ordinary things. She loved her garden, especially her flowers. She enjoyed yard work in the spring and summer months and quilting and sewing in the fall and winter months. She loved watching movies from yesteryear, especially musicals. She was raised in Churchville Presbyterian Church; and upon her marriage, she became a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church where, for many years, she sang in the choir and participated in a Bible study group.
Mrs. Dayhoof is survived by two sons, James Bernard Dayhoof Jr. and his wife, Joanne T. Fleming, of Bel Air, MD, and Larry Richard Dayhoof and his wife, Marlee Dayhoof, of Darlington, MD; two daughters, Betty Ellen Findley and her husband, Walter W. Findley Sr., of Darlington, MD, and Roxanne Dayhoof Burton and her husband, John Burton, of Churchville, MD; a sister, Marjorie Ellen Ford of Preston, MD; six grandchildren, Julie Ann Ewers, Kevin Thomas Dayhoof, and Rebecca Ann Kropkowski, all of Bel Air, MD, Walter Lee Rice, III of Aberdeen, MD, Melanie Hanson Garth of Bel Air, MD, and Amy Lynn Dayhoof-Kells of Millsboro, DE; and ten great grandchildren, Sean Thomas Ewers, Emily Ruth Kropkowski, Zachary Steven Kropkowski, all of Bel Air, MD, Sarah Margaret Snyder of Rising Sun, MD, Robert Thomas Rice and Zachary Jacob Rice of Aberdeen, MD, Annabelle Hanson Garth of Bel
