Betty Wiley

BETTY WILEY, age 87, of Bel Air, Maryland died at Franklin Square Hospital, Baltimore, MD on Monday, November 22, 2004. Born in Bellevue, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Calvin and Helen Taggart Willison Philips and the wife of the late COL William S. Wiley Jr. (US Army, Ret.). Mrs. Wiley was an Army spouse of more than 30 years. She was an American Red Cross Volunteer. She was an avid reader, loved to write and enjoyed needlework.

Mrs. Wiley is survived by her son, Jeff Wiley of Roswell, Georgia; her daughter, COL Betty J. Wiley of Chesterfield, Virginia; and five grandchildren, Jennifer Wiley and David Wiley, both of Roswell, Georgia; Allison Crowley, Matthew Crowley, and Will Crowley all of Chesterfield, Virginia. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Wiley was predeceased by one son, Tad Wiley.
