Betty V. Price

BETTY VELMA PRICE, age 75, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Edgewood, Maryland, died at Oak Ridge Nursing Home in Lakeland, Florida on February 13, 2005. Born in Chesapeake, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Mildred Bertha Henson Lee, and the wife of the late Bergin “Junior” Price, Jr. She had worked as the manager of the Imperial Cinema, Lakeland, Florida and also at the Farmers Market in White Marsh, Maryland. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post 8672, Jarrettsville, MD.

Mrs. Price is survived by one son, Michael E. Price of Hope Mills, North Carolina: one daughter, Cynthia A. Hutson and her husband, Raymond of Bel Air, MD; two sisters, Margaret Milam of Raleigh, West Virginia; Geneva Malbrough of Westminster, Maryland; five grandchildren, Suzanne M. Gardner of Charlotte, North Carolina; Erik M. Price of Hope Mills, North Carolina; Kevin E. Price of Little Rock, Arkansas; Philip B. Hutson of Bel Air, MD; Diana K. Hutson of Bel Air, MD; three great-grandchildren, Madison A. Meshaw of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Brandon A. Gardner of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Brayden M. Price of Gulfport, Mississippi.
