BETTY ROSE HARRIS of Bel Air, MD, formerly of La Mesa, CA, died August 10 at Hart Heritage Estate in Street, MD. She was 82.

Born on December 1, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Rose McCray and the wife of the late Charles W. Harris.

Mrs. Harris was an avid San Diego Chargers fan and also enjoyed attending her grandson’s high school games with her son and daughter-in-law. She loved animals and enjoyed music, especially songs from the Big Band Era and Lawrence Welk. She also enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels with her daughter whenever she came to Bel Air for a visit.
