Betty Marie Cox

Betty Marie Cox, age 87, of Bel Air, MD passed away on March 25, 2019 at her home. Born in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of Linwood Palmer and Mary (Redford) Shoemaker and wife of the late William Edwin Ray Cox. She worked as a cafeteria worker for 10 years for Harford County Public Schools before retiring in 2013 and was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing slot machines, word search books and puzzles. She collected angels and loved working in the yard.

Mrs. Cox is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Lee Kass of Valencia, CA and her husband, Micah, Karen Arleen Miller of Baltimore and her husband, Allan and Sharon Eileen Cox of Nottingham and her partner, Eric Jensen; granddaughters, Kimberly Cox, Danielle Sinclitico and Kasey Miller; grandsons, Brian Sinclitico, William Cox and Kyle Miller; brother, David Leahy; great-granddaughters, Emma Sinclitico and Elisa Ricaurte; great-grandsons, Anthony Ricaurte and Noah Sinclitico; and daughter-in-law, Dee Cox of Overlea.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald William Cox and sisters, Mary Tartle, Evelyn Hanson and Jean Buttion.
