Betty Lou Jones

Betty Lou Jones, age 74, of Forest Hill, MD, died on September 6, 2011 at Country View Assisted Living in Darlington, MD. Born in Eden, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Shober and Laura Mae Meeks Amos and wife of the late Ralph Jones Jr. She retired, after 10 years, from Harford County Public Schools where she was a school bus attendant. A caregiver to many people, she was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters, Connie L. Hoffman and husband, Richard, of Forest Hill, MD and Betty Katherine Walter of Bel Air, MD; and two grandchildren, Alan Scott Walter, Jr. of Bel Air, MD and Matthew Shane Walter of Forest Hill, MD.
