Betty L. Messman

BETTY L. MESSMAN, age 80, of Arlington, Virginia, formerly of Bel Air, Maryland, died in Arlington Hospital on July 17, 2004. Born in Spelter, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Roy Hayward and Letha Hazel Rollins Jones, and the wife of the late Marvin C. Messman.

Mrs. Messman is survived by five sons, Jack L. Messman of Weston, Massachusetts; James M. Messman of Manheim, Pennsylvania; Dr. Kenny W. Messman of Alexandria, Virginia; Richard L. Messman of Houston, Texas; Jared M. Messman of Manheim, Pennsylvania; one sister, Jean Hannis of Bowie, Maryland; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Kyle A. Messman, Paul Mellinger, Douglas Doyle, Kevin S. Beall, Fred Melchoir, and David Richmond.
