Betty Jane Stolka

February 20, 1928 — January 21, 2013

Betty Jane Stolka, age 84, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on January 21, 2013 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace. Born in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Edgar and Evelyn Grace Eberly West and wife of the late Frank Joseph Stolka. She had been employed as a telephone operator and was a previous member of the Havre de Grace, Aberdeen and Churchville Senior Citizen Centers. She loved animals and being on the farm when she was first married. She also loved reading and traveling, which she did for many years.

Mrs. Stolka is survived by her daughters, Margaret S. Tuten of St. Marys, GA and Judith S. Kerfoot of Havre de Grace; brother, William West of Taneytown; and grandchildren, Rhetta Judith and Katherine Jane Kerfoot. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Carroll West.
