Betty J. Hanks Davis Zeitler

Betty Hanks Davis Zeitler, age 62, of Colora, MD, died on April 15, 2010 at her home. Born in Abingdon, MD, she was the daughter of Frances Marie Nickols Hanks of Abingdon, MD and the late Walter Scott Hanks Sr. She was employed, for 20 years, as a supervisor for Liqui-Box Corporation in Elkton, MD.

Mrs. Zeitler is survived by her husband, Gary J. Zeitler of Colora, MD; sons, Brian K. Davis of Elkton, MD and Emory L. Davis Jr.; daughter, Angela R. Edwards of Elkton, MD; brother, Walter "Buddy" S. Hanks of Rising Sun, MD; sisters, Judy McVey of Chestertown, MD, Anne Nelson of Havre de Grace, MD, and Joan Ayers of Churchville, MD; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Emory Lee Davis, son, David S. Davis and her sister, Nancy Bannon.

Pallbearers will be Joseph S. Edwards II, Justin Davis, Bud Hanks, Eddie Jones, Randy Hall, and Charles Ayers.
