Betty Ilene Dancy

BETTY ILENE DANCY, age 72, of Pasadena, formerly of Fallston, died at her daughter’s home in Inwood, West Virginia on November 28, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Lee Addison and the late Hattie McGlothlin Weisburg and the wife of the late Dewey Plato Dancy. She had worked for Harford County Public Schools for eight years where she was a bus attendant for children with special needs. She enjoyed helping disabled children and loved quilting. She was a graduate of Bel Air High School.

Mrs. Dancy is survived by three sons, Tony Dancy of Pasadena, Danny Dancy of North East and Mike Dancy of Edgewood; a daughter, Denise O’Dell of Inwood, West Virginia; two brothers, Ben Addison of Peru, Indiana and Russ Addison of New Freedom, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Geri Carter of Fountain Green, Mickey Harrell of Columbiana, Alabama, Jean Lewis of Havre de Grace, and Pat Choate of New Freedom, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Shawn Dancy and Brandon O’Dell.
