Bertha Proffit

Bertha Proffit of Joppa, MD passed away on May 5, 2016 at the age of 95 at Lorien Riverside in Belcamp, MD. Born in Morehead, KY, she was the wife of the late Glenmore Proffit. She enjoyed being a homemaker, working in the garden, going to church and cooking. She enjoyed family time, Sunday dinners, Gospel music including "Old Rugged Cross" and being with her grandchildren who called her "Mamaw".

Mrs. Proffit is survived by her children, Quinton Proffit and Elby Proffit, both of Dundalk, Richard Proffit of St. Helen's, OR, Glenda Shaver of Joppa and Sue Campbell of Essex; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
