Bert Franklin Johnson Jr.

Bert Franklin Johnson Jr., age 76, of Belcamp, MD, passed away on March 3, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Des Arc, AR, he was the son of Mary Ann Stanley Johnson of Conway, AR and the late Bert Franklin Johnson Sr. A veteran of the U.S. Army he had worked as a Dredge Captain for Operating Engineers in Baltimore and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nelda Jean Johnson of Belcamp, MD; sons, Jimmie F. Johnson of Lexington, SC, Billy W. Johnson of Abingdon, MD and David L. Johnson of St. Petersburg, FL; daughters, Joyce N. Kerrigan of Ballston Spa, NY, Debra L. Gestwicki of Malden Bridge, NY and Lynda J. Hill of Prince Frederick, MD; brothers, Rexford L. Johnson of Chino, CA and Robert S. Johnson of Conway, AR; sister, Ruby Fay Glover of Greenbrier, AR; 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to his father he was predeceased by his daughter, Cindy A. Wilson and his sister, Betty L. Sauer.
