Bernice Letha Frantz (Nee Smith)

Bernice Letha Frantz (nee Smith), age 95, of Bel Air, MD passed away on September 3, 2011 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Marion, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Tally and Gussie Magalina Smith, and wife of the late Thomas Cockey Frantz. She was a former member of Loch Raven Baptist Church where she was active and enjoyed fellowship with friends in her church group. Her hobbies included gardening, doing crafts, flower arranging, reading, and traveling to the mountains where she enjoyed hiking. She also loved her dog, Sprinkles.

Mrs. Frantz is survived by her sons, James T. Frantz and wife, Pauline of Street, MD and Robert E. Frantz and wife, Lyana of Ellicott City, MD; grandchildren, Kristopher, Alex, Allison and Maggie Frantz; and niece, Virginia Armetta. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, James Smith.
