Bernardo T. Hernandez

Bernardo Hernandez, age 48, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at his home. 

He was born on January 29th, 2023, in Mexico. He married the love of his life, Roselia, on March 27, 1995. They were happily married for 28 years and had two children, Adrian and Brandon, who are present today. 

Bernardo joined McLean Contracting in 2004, making $11, as a laborer. As a laborer, through his determination and ambition went up the ladder to becoming the Welding Superintendent, in 2017. He was a hard working man who proudly shared his work to those he interacted with. 

Bernardo was a kind person who helped many people throughout his lifetime, and any person that met him knew they could count on him at all times. He was an honest man and determined to work for all that he achieved in life. 

Bernardo had a true love for the outdoors; he looked forward to the camping trips with his family, bonfires with his boys, hunting and fishing with his great friend, or going to the range with his buddies from work. 

Bernardo is survived by his wife Roselia Hernandez; sons, Adrian Hernandez and Brandon Hernandez; grandson, Avery Hernandez; brothers, Giovanni Cruz and Michael Cruz, sister, Angelica Pavia, and mother, Benita Pavia.
