Bernard J. Bull Jr.

Bernard J. Bull Jr., 89, of Bel Air, MD passed away on October 28, 2015 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Bernard Joseph Bull Sr. and Marie (Newton) Bull. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served our country during WWII and had been employed with A&P Grocery Stores where he was a meat cutter. He was a member of several organizations which included the American Legion Post #183 in Parkville, First Presbyterian Church in Bel Air, and was a former member of Kenwood Presbyterian Church. He also belonged to the Masons Jeptha Lodge and Boumi Temple. He enjoyed playing golf and gardening and was a big fan of the Orioles. He also enjoyed fishing, dancing, bowling and spending time with his family.

Mr. Bull is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gladys L. (Vaeth) Bull; daughters, Cheryl D. Roettger (Robert) of Fallston and Susan E. Moeser (Bill) of Bel Air; sister, Charlotte Ott of Baltimore; grandchildren, Heather Baliko (Michael), Stephen Roettger and Billy Moeser (Lauren); and great-granddaughter, Calla Baliko. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, William, Gordon, Robert, Jesse, Bernadine, Marie and Elizabeth.
