Berdell Mae Founds

Berdell Mae Founds, age 86, of Joppa, MD passed away on August 3, 2017 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Joseph Thomas and Katherine Elizabeth (Huber) Wood. She worked for Harford County Public Schools as a nurse at Joppatowne Elementary, Norrisville Elementary and Riverside Elementary Schools. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Joppa and loved and enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Founds is survived by her husband of 68 years, Roy Edward Founds; children, Thomas Edward Founds of Joppa, Robert (Theresa) Scott Founds of Pylesville, Steven (Shelly) Dale Founds of Shrewsbury, PA and Kathryn (Michael) R. Meadows of Havre de Grace; grandchildren, Rachael Zimmerman of Pylesville, Lauren Diehl of Ocean Pines, Tyler Founds of Pylesville, Owen and Alex Founds of Shrewsbury, PA, K. Elizabeth Meadows of Federal Hill, Kierstin Meadows of Havre de Grace, Jacob Meadows of Havre de Grace, MD; sister, Doris Rathell of Cumberland; several great-grandchildren; and special niece, Joyce Murray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Thomas Wood.
