Beatrice “Bea” Ann Kapple, age 77, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on April 21, 2022 with her daughters by her side. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of James Shenk and Florence (Hoffman) Kelly and wife of the late Kenneth Franklin Kapple. She retired from the Maryland Air National Guard after serving 22 years as a photographer. She also retired from the State of Maryland as a Correctional Officer at the Baltimore City Correctional Center. She enjoyed numerous hobbies, photography, beekeeping, wine making, gardening, and woodworking among them, and shared her knowledge with many. She will be missed by family and friends.
Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Kimberly A. Kapple-Muir and her husband, Chuck; grandchildren Kent Muir (Rachell), Lauren Roberts (Chase), Jesse Gaviola (Justin), and Colt Muir; great grandchildren, Hunter Wimer and Willow Muir, and Kelly D. Bittner and her husband, Stephen; grandchildren, Rachel and Greg Bittner; sisters, Kathleen Harmon (Bob) and Sheri Harhigh (Steve); and brother James Shenk, Jr.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Cynthia Knapp and Claudia Taylor.
