Beatrice Ann Hieronimus

BEATRICE ANN HIERONIMUS, age 77, of Edgewood, MD, died on March 2, 2008 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the youngest of eleven children of the late David Remington and the late Mary Catherine Finnegan and wife, for 42 years, of the late Richard Frederick Hieronimus. She worked and retired from Baltimore City in the School Crossing Guard Division where she shepherded children across busy intersections and finished this career in front of St. Dominic's Catholic School. An Edgewood resident for 21 years, she was a long time parishioner of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Edgewood. She enjoyed collecting bric-a-brac.

Mrs. Hieronimus is survived by a son, Raymond Richard Hieronimus of Darlington, MD; four daughters, Carole Ann Zissimos and Catherine Leona Stein, both of Edgewood, MD, Dottie Engler of Bel Air, MD, and Beatrice Ann Allen of Joppa, MD; thirteen grandchildren and twenty eight great-grandchildren.
