Barry Swartz Merritt

Barry Swartz Merritt, age 56, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on April 28, 2014 at his home. Born in Baltimore, he is the son of Doris Mae Swartz Merritt and the late Henry Llewellyn (Llew) Merritt. He graduated from Bel Air High School in 1975, attended Harford C.C. and graduated from Towson State College in 1986. Barry worked as a journeyman bricklayer and later as a computer operator. He enjoyed golf, running, was an avid sports fan and a member at Bel Air United Methodist Church.

In addition to his mother, of Jennersville, PA; Mr. Merritt is survived by his brother, Thomas L. Merritt M.D. and wife, Rebecca, of Seattle, WA; sister, Lynne Ellen Merritt of San Diego, CA; and nieces, Megan and Alison.
