Barbara Tibbs Alvarado

Barbara Tibbs Danenmann Alvarado, age 72, of Hydes, MD, passed away on May 20, 2013 at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. Born in Pylesville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Vernon and Laura Bell Waddell Tibbs. A lifelong resident of Harford County, she retired from the Veteran's Administration and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She liked to go fishing and play the slot machines.

Barbara is survived by her son, Stephen Danenmann and wife, Sara, of Royal Oak, MD; daughters, Vicky Clayton and husband, Clint, of Hydes, MD and Sandy Danenmann of Easton, MD; grandchildren, Jennifer Williams of Royal Oak, MD, Samantha Cook of Hydes, MD, Morgan Danenmann and Charles Danenmann both of Royal Oak, MD; brother, Harry Tibbs of Joppa, MD; sisters, Ruby McConnell of Edgewood, MD and Freda Compton of Joppa, MD; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Gail and Jack Carter of Virginia; and loving companion Duke. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Henry Tibbs; and sisters, Irene Greer and Mildred Riley.
