Barbara Steedman

Barbara Steedman, age 85, of Forest Hill, MD, died on November 6, 2009 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Bergen Thomas and Margaret Gill Brown and wife of the late Joseph Edward Steedman. A Harford County resident for 45 years, she was a long time mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in the Bel Air area. She was active with Meals on Wheels and enjoyed bowling and playing Bridge.

Mrs. Steedman is survived by sons, Richard A. Steedman of Frankfort, DE and David W. Steedman of Santa Fe, NM; daughters, Kathleen S. Bencivenni of Edgewood, MD and Gail S. Moore of Conowingo, MD; brothers, Bergen "Toby" Brown of Marshall, NC and William Brown of Rock Hall, MD; and seven grandchildren, Will Steedman, Gala Bencivenni, Erixson, Patrick and Alex Moore, Heather and Matthew Steedman.
