Barbara R. Sharretts

Barbara R. Sharretts, age 76, of Bel Air, MD passed away on August 17, 2018 at Hart Heritage Estates in Street, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Roland and Mary Orrison (Boyle) Richards. She was a former member of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, Lutherville, where she was active in the Meals on Wheels program. She was employed as the Head Nurse on the second floor at Stella Maris for 20 years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting, gardening, and collecting angels. She was a team mom for her son's leagues and she served as the administrator for Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association. She was an avid Ravens fan.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, David Sharretts; three sons, Buck and Keri Sharretts and Doug Sharretts all of Bel Air, and Andy and Pippa Sharretts of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Hayden, Grant, Katy and Luke; sister, Peggy Gibbs of Baltimore; brother, James Richards of The Big Island, HI; and nieces and nephews.
