Barbara Kalothi Miller

November 23, 1945 — February 26, 2025

Barbara Kalothi Miller, 79, of Joppatowne, Maryland, passed away on February 26, 2025, at Franklin Square Hospital in Rosedale, Maryland.

Born in Athens, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Marinos and Aikaterini (Plagiarinou) Kalothis and the beloved wife of the late Eric Miller. Barbara was a gifted choreographer and ballet teacher who dedicated her life to the art of dance. She founded and owned two dance studios, Pikesville Dance Studio and Dance Arts, where she inspired generations of students with her passion and grace.

Beyond dance, Barbara had a deep love for animals, cherished flowers—especially roses—and found great joy in traveling. She embraced life with optimism, hope, and a cultured spirit, always seeking beauty in the world around her. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Martha Sinis, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Aris Kalothis.
