Barbara G. Manry

Barbara G. Manry, age 97, of Jarrettsville, Maryland, passed away on July 9, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. She was born in Bernardsville, New Jersey, the daughter of the late John and Lona (Holder) Garrett and was the beloved wife of the late Robert Omer Manry.

Barbara was a devoted member of North Harford Baptist Church since 2000, where she found great joy in serving with the Children's ministry, the Widows Group, and was actively involved in visitation and the nursing home ministry. She lived a life filled with faith and compassion, touching the lives of many through her love and care.

Barbara enjoyed camping and golf with her late husband, Robert. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren, especially playing cards, making up songs, and preparing their favorites from the kitchen. Meatballs and rice, broccoli casserole, cookie stuff, and chocolate chip bars were some of the favorites that brought great satisfaction to the family and beyond.

Known for her infectious laughter and warm heart, Barbara was a pillar of love and encouragement for her family and friends. She was an enthusiastic supporter of her children and grandchildren's sporting events, cheering them on with unmatched enthusiasm and pride.

 Barbara is survived by her sons, John W. Manry and his wife Jody, Wes Manry and his wife Dona, and Randall Manry and his companion Sharon Sinclair; grandchildren; Andy, Kaitlin, Kara, Michael, Allison, Jared, Jordan, Jessica, Justin, Jason and 21 great grandchildren.
