Barbara J. Dean

Barbara J. Dean, age 83, of Bel Air, MD passed away on November 13, 2018 at her home. Born in Glade Valley, NC, she was the daughter of Talmage and Zella Lou (Maines) Richardson and wife of the late Amos Richard Dean. She was a longtime member of Delta Church of the Nazarene. She loved spending time with her family, throwing cook outs, and going out to eat. She loved gardening and cooking, especially with butter, and she loved her talking bird "Pretty Boy".

Mrs. Dean is survived by four daughters, Patricia Dean of Bel Air, Clarissa (Bryan) Mullaney of Bel Air, Sherry (David) Girken of Bel Air, and Ronda (Jeff) Crass of Delta, PA; two sons, Terry (Gail) Dean of Bel Air and Richard (Betsy) Dean of Bel Air; brother, Gerald Richardson of Joppa; sister, Wanda Pal of Bel Air; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wade Richardson.
