Barbara Irene Carpenter

Barbara Irene Carpenter, age 66, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on April 8, 2016 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Michael Francis Ryder and Barbara Anne (Frank) Ryder. She was an active member of Mountain Christian Church where she loved volunteering and serving others. She was a past volunteer at Tabitha's House and enjoyed yoga and walking. When she encountered trials in her life, she made it a mission to support others going through the same trials.

Mrs. Carpenter is survived by her husband of 43 years, Peter S. Carpenter; sons, Peter Sundin Carpenter II of Forest Hill, Todd Michael Carpenter of New York, NY and David Matthew Carpenter of Dallas, TX; daughter-in-law, Melissa Anne Carpenter of Forest Hill; brother, William Ryder of Marshfield, MA; sister, Deborah Leddin of Pembroke, MA; and grandchildren, Grace Elaine Carpenter and Lily Anne Carpenter both of Forest Hill. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Michael Ryder and sister, Karen Ryder.
