BARBARA ANN HALL, age 69, of Joppatowne died at her home on July 25, 2003. Born in North Platte, Nebraska, and raised in Missoula, Montana, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Lillian Wemple. She was the wife of Frank N. Hall for 52 years and throughout their marriage they lived, worked and made a home in several places including Anchorage, Alaska, Hilliard, Ohio and Joppatowne.
Mrs. Hall worked at several jobs outside of the home but her passion in life was working in the home to support her family in any way possible. She expressed her love for the family through cooking, baking, sewing, handcrafts, and always being available to any family member that needed her. Mrs. Hall loved to decorate cakes and cookies. She would generously share these treats with her family and friends. Her family always found comfort in a home that was decorated with her crafts, packed with good food and filled with care for everyone.
Mrs. Hall strived to be a positive influence for people in her lifetime. She served God in the Lutheran Church by teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and contributing to various causes that benefited congregational members and the community. Mrs. Hall was a lifetime member of the sorority Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed the fellowship of her “sisters” and worked with them in various cultural activities.
In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Hall is survived by her two sons, Terry L. Hall of Joppa; Mark E. Hall of Bel Air; one daughter, Lea Ann Lynch of Havre de Grace; three brothers, James “Jim” Wemple of Missoula, Montana; Jerry Wemple of Missoula, Montana; Charles “Butch” Wemple of Frenchtown, Montana; one sister, Janet Person of Florence, Montana; six grandchildren, Brian Hall of Dalton, Georgia; Christina Hall of Abingdon; Gregory Hall of Abingdon; Alicia Guns of Perryville; Courtney Lynch of Havre de Grace; Sarah Hall of Bel Air; and her extended family members, Charles Lynch of Havre de Grace, Martha Hall of Dalton, Georgia: and Teresa Hall of Bel Air. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Frederick “Mike” Hall.
