Barbara Dixon

Barbara Dixon, 99, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on July 8, 2015 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Jefferson, NC, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Causbey Rebecca (Little) Shatley and wife of the late James Alexander Dixon. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, entertaining and being around people.

Mrs. Dixon is survived by her daughter, Adgelene Pender of Aberdeen; grandchildren, John Pender and Deborah Katz; and great-grandchildren, Christine Turner, Sean Katz, Matthew Pender and Sarah Pender. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by five siblings.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Pender, Sean Katz, Tom Reeves and John Dixon.
