Barbara Jean Dill, age 73, passed away on September 13, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Frank and Jean Hulseman and the beloved wife of the late Edgar J. Dill Sr. Barbara was also a sister to Frank and Judy.
A passionate crocheter, Barbara found joy in creating handmade hats, scarves, and blankets, generously donating many of her creations to cancer patients at the Cancer Institute at Franklin Square Hospital, having bravely fought her own battle with breast cancer. While at Sterling Care Bel Air, she continued to learn and share her talents, crafting purses, bracelets, and shawls for fellow patients and staff, as well as providing gifts for bingo. Her kindness and creativity left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Bren Brinegar, and her husband Jamie; her son, Edgar J. Dill Jr.; and four grandsons; Ricky, RJ, Andrew, and Ryan. Barbara was deeply loved by the entire Brinegar family, who embraced her as one of their own, and she, in turn, had a profound love and gratitude for the way they welcomed her with open arms, making her feel like part of the family.
Barbara will be fondly remembered for her caring spirit, love of crafting, and the warmth she brought to all those around her.
