Barbara Catherine Grail, age 86, of Bel Air, MD passed away on October 4, 2015 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she is the daughter of the late Joseph John and Catherine (Galonis) Salino and wife of the late John Theadore Grail. She was born and raised in Baltimore all her life except for 6 years she spent in Rhode Island from 1959-1964. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Orioles and was an ardent fan thru their highs and lows, and in July of 1956 was pictured in an article "Oriole Girls Tell Their Behind the Scenes Jobs" in the Baltimore Sun. She even had the opportunity to throw the first pitch at one of their games at Camden Yards. She was also an avid fan of the Maryland Terps' men and women's basketball teams, the Baltimore Ravens, and Baltimore Colts. She loved to go to Las Vegas, cruising, and bowling. She loved all animals and was a member of the Best Friends Animal Shelter in Utah.
Mrs. Grail is survived by her daughters, Cheryl A. Graff of Bel Air, Karen D. Uyesugi (Daniel) of Fayetteville, GA, Dawn Mari Grail of Bel Air and Lurene G. Grail of Easton; sister-in-law Anna Lynn Simpson of Baltimore; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
