Barbara A. Kane

BARBARA A. KANE, age 54, of Aberdeen, MD, died on September 17, 2008 at Gilchrist Center at GBMC in Towson, MD. Born in Collingswood, NJ, she was the daughter of Barbara Matilda Shinn Cilurso of Aberdeen, MD and the late Edward Cilurso. A resident of Harford County for 18 years, she worked for the Aberdeen Police Department since 1995 as a secretary and an adminastrative assistant. She attended St. Joan of Arc Church in Aberdeen and enjoyed people, cooking, crafts and collecting snow babies.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Kane is survived by her husband, Michael Joseph Kane of Aberdeen, MD; a son, Christopher M. Kane of Aberdeen, MD; three step-daughters, Susan C. Mallernee of Cadiz, OH, Sandra M. Garrett of York, PA and Sharon E. Kane of Berlin, NJ; a brother Edward Cilurso Jr. of Maple Shade, NJ; and eight grandchildren, Jai and Leah Briggs of San Antonio, TX, Trey Briggs of Austin, TX, Brandon Garrett of York, PA, Nicole Snook of Berlin, NJ, and Jessica, Justin and Caitlin Clark, all of Berlin, NJ.
