B. Pauline Mcroberts Childers

B. Pauline McRoberts Childers, age 80, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on October 20, 2011 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, she was the daughter of the late John Raymond and Emma Aileen Haga McRoberts. A homemaker, she graduated from Havre de Grace High School in 1949 and Goldy Beacon Business College in 1951. She worked as a stenographer at Aberdeen Proving Ground and was a member of Welcome Home Free Will Baptist Church for 46 years.

Mrs. Childers is survived by her husband of 60 years, William Melvin Childers of Havre de Grace, MD; son, Marshal Alan Childers and his wife, Janelle, of New Park, PA; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Childers and her husband, Henry E. Hunt of Bel Air, MD; brother John McRoberts of Snyder, TX; sister, Oka Mae Vanhoy of Lake City, FL; and grandchildren, Abigail Paige Childers, Allison Marie Childers and Jonas Marshal Childers.

In addition to her mother and father, she was predeceased by sons, Steven Anthony and Thomas Melvin Childers, brothers, George Freeman McRoberts and Benjamin McRoberts, and sisters, Helen Bernice Coulter, Jacqualine Carter and Marilyn Farrell.
