Aurora Cudia

Aurora Abrejera Cudia, age 74, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on February 19, 2022 at her home. Born in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines, she was the daughter of Pablo and Maria Sison (Caburnay) Abrejera.    

Aurora is survived by her husband Benigno Robles Cudia; daughter, Maria Brown and husband Mark; two sons, Marben Cudia and partner-in-life Carmencita, and Benjamin Cudia and wife Amy. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Xavier, Olivia, Alaiä, Oenaemous, and Andrew. She will be greatly missed by all including many loving cousins, friends, and extended family. 

Aurora spent much of her life in the Chicagoland area, raising her kids and working hard as a nurse in Chicago then at Highland Park Hospital.  She became a fan of sports, particularly football, watching her two boys play in high school. She treasured day trips and adventures with her daughter. She cheered on the Chicago Cubs and loved attending games with her family at Wrigley Field. She was a private woman of great faith. Aurora cherished her homeland of the Philippines and its traditions and culture were an important part of her life. She loved to travel and treasured family gatherings with lots of food, love, and laughter.
