Audrey West

Audrey West, age 83, of Bel Air, MD passed away on August 5, 2018 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium. Born in Bel Air, MD, she was the daughter of Conley Irvin and Mamie Lea (Young) Nelson and the wife of the late Carroll Edgar West Jr. She was a former PTA President at Churchville Elementary, circa 1970, as well as a Cub Scout leader and den mother. She taught Sunday School at Grace United Methodist Church and she was also a Secretary of the Aberdeen Beautification Committee.

Mrs. West is survived by two daughters, Tereasa Welsh and her husband, Joe of Havre de Grace and Marcia Lantz and her husband, Mike of Fallston; two sons, Mark West and his significant other, Natalie Handwerk of Murrells Inlet, SC, and Greg West and his significant other, Dani Chapman Streett of Fallston; 7 grandsons, Sean Welsh, Trey Moxey, Chris Lantz, Austen West, Keefer West, Mitchell West, and Owen West; 3 granddaughters, Kaitlyn Welsh, Alyssa Rowan, and Chelsea West; 4 great grandsons, Ian and Benjamin Welsh, Luke Rowan, and Patrick Moxey; 4 great granddaughters, Chloe Welsh, Brooklynn Lantz, Callie Rowan, and Audrey West; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
